To sweeten even more the visit of our website, we created for you a new version of the classic and timeless game of checkers. Checkers with canestrellini? It's possible... and with our version of the game you can eat even more pieces! So play with us... you'll develop a taste for it!
Delicious game rules
This new checkers is played with our canestrellini, the classic and the chocolate-covered ones. There are two ways to play: a player against the computer or two players, who will respectively choose the white pieces (classic canestrellini) and the black pieces (chocolate-covered canestrellini). The game has two difficulty levels, easy and normal.
The basic rules are those of the classic checkers, with some variations. You play always and only diagonally, and it is possible to move backward other than forward, but only when there' s a chance to eat. Pieces that can be moved are indicated by a yellow border surrounding the box. Clicking on the piece that you want to move, you'll see the boxes where it is possible to move, always marked by a yellow border.
When the piece is brought to the enemy base, it becomes a Queen by the overlapping of two canestrellini and it can also move through more boxes.
Simple pieces can eat the queen, unlike the classic rules. So, in our checkers nothing is for granted, and everything is to be tried.
